Perennial Spade

With its sharp, work-hardened triangular bronze head, Carina is a medium sized tool used to dig up and divide clumps of perennials. Its 65 cm handle allows the gardener to dig while kneeling, while still obtaining the necessary leverage. Other uses include bulb planting and edging the lawn.

Good to split perennial shrubs. For working in raised beds and generally working in areas where a full size spade would be too cumbersome.

The shaft is ash with a beech T-handle.
